Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, together with Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Pavlo Palisa, held another meeting with corps commanders currently defending some of the most challenging sections of the front.

Those taking part in the discussion included Commander of the 8th Air Assault Corps Dmytro Voloshyn, Commander of the 10th Army Corps Artem Bohomolov, Commander of the 11th Army Corps Oleksiy Maystrenko, Commander of the 7th Rapid Response Air Assault Corps Yevhen Lasiychuk, Commander of the 20th Army Corps Svyatoslav Zayets, and Commander of the 17th Army Corps Yaroslav Sydorov.
According to the president, the meeting focused on the situation in the Slovyansk, Pokrovsk, Oleksandrivka, Kharkiv and other sectors.
“We discussed the nature and specifics of combat operations at the front, particularly in the Slovyansk, Pokrovsk and Oleksandrivka sectors, in Kharkiv Region and in other particularly difficult areas,” Zelenskyy noted.
The president said the commanders gave a positive assessment of the programme for the equitable distribution of personnel among combat brigades, which has been in place since December.
Special attention was paid to supplying troops with weapons, conducting rotations, protecting Ukrainian logistics and disrupting Russian military supply routes.
“We need more long-range artillery and 155 mm shells. We identified the additional assets required for medium-range strikes. We will speak with manufacturers and everyone involved in supply about additional options,” the head of state stressed.
Zelenskyy also underscored that scaling up the production and delivery of ground robotic systems remains one of the country’s priorities.
Participants discussed the operational situation at the front, Russian forces’ plans and the prospects for Ukraine’s active defence. The president also thanked the commanders for their proposals on improving technical capabilities, expanding domestic production and strengthening support for the troops.
