Russia struck Zaporizhzhya. According to updated information as of 16:20, the death toll has risen to three. Thirteen people were injured. 

Military used guided aerial bombs against the regional center. According to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the Russians hit a high-rise apartment building. 

Update. At 13:33, Fedorov reported that the number of people injured in the Russian attack had increased, and nine people needed medical assistance. After 16:20, the State Emergency Service reported that the death toll was already three and the number of injured had reached 13. 

“Guided aerial bombs struck residential neighbourhoods of the regional centre,” the head of the Regional Military Administration wrote.

Residential buildings, vehicles, and non-residential premises were damaged. Fires broke out.

The State Emergency Service said that in the damaged high-rise building, apartments from the third to the ninth floors were on fire. The blast wave and debris also damaged 13 more vehicles and nearby buildings.

Earlier, Fedorov wrote about the threat of ballistic missile strikes on Zaporizhzhya Region and other regions of Ukraine where air-raid alerts were declared.
