Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with three seasoned Ukrainian military officers to discuss the situation on the front line, strengthening air defense, supplying the troops, and drone production.
The head of state reported this on his social media.
He spoke with the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Mykhaylo Drapatyy; the Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Volodymyr Horbatyuk; and the Commander of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleh Apostol.
During the meeting, Major General Mykhaylo Drapatyy briefed on the operational situation in the Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, and Donetsk sectors. Zelenskyy thanked Ukrainian troops for successfully containing the Russian forces and preventing them from accomplishing their combat objectives.
Special attention was paid to implementing agreements with international partners on weapons deliveries. The President stressed that the top priorities remain strengthening the air defense system and fully fulfilling contracts for the production of all types of drones.
The discussion also covered the actions of Ukraine’s Air Assault Forces on the Oleksandrivka axis.
"I value the objective assessment of the situation, the detailed review of the key needs of corps and brigades in these sectors, the proposals on problematic issues, and closing supply shortfalls. We must not lose a single day in defending Ukraine’s independence, our positions, and our people," Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasised.
