The building of Azerbaijan’s Embassy in Ukraine was damaged as a result of a massive Russian missile attack on Kyiv on the night of 19 July. The blast wave blew out windows and damaged the ceiling of the diplomatic mission.

This was reported by the Azerbaijani state news agency Azertag.

According to the diplomatic mission, a missile struck about 200–250 meters from the embassy building, opposite the Lukyanivska metro station.

As a result of the explosion, windows were blown out in the building and cracks appeared in the ceiling.

At the same time, none of the embassy staff were injured.

The diplomatic mission noted that this is not the first time the Azerbaijan Embassy building has been damaged during Russian air attacks on Kyiv since the start of the full-scale war.
