On the night of 19 July, Russian military carried out another massive strike on Kyiv. A total of 166 aerial attack assets were recorded.

This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On the night of 19 July (starting from 18:00 on 18 July), the enemy delivered a massive combined strike on Ukraine using attack UAVs and air- and ground-launched missiles of various types. The main direction of the strike was Kyiv," the statement said.

In total, the Air Force’s radio-technical troops recorded 166 aerial attack assets — 41 missiles and 125 UAVs of various types:

  • 10 3M22 Zircon anti-ship missiles (launch areas — Kursk Region, Russian Federation);
  • 25 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles (launch areas — Bryansk and Kursk Regions, Russian Federation);
  • 3 Onyx anti-ship missiles (launch areas — temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea);
  • 3 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles (launch areas — airspace over the Black Sea);
  • 125 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, Parodiya-type decoy drones, and Banderol-type loitering munitions (from the directions of Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo — Russian Federation; Hvardiyske — temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea).

The aerial attack was repelled by aircraft, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 08:30, air defences shot down/suppressed 126 targets — 18 missiles and 108 UAVs of various types:

  • 17 Iskander-M/Zircon/S-400 missiles;
  • 1 Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missile;
  • 108 UAVs of various types.

According to preliminary information, as of 08:30, 23 missiles and 10 attack UAVs were recorded hitting 20 locations, and UAV debris falling at 18 locations.
