On the night of 19 July, attack drones struck three oil depots in the city of Mikhaylovsk in Russia’s Stavropol Krai. After the strikes, large-scale fires erupted at the facilities.

This was reported by the Astra Telegram channel.

Local residents reported air-defence systems in operation and the sound of drones, followed by powerful explosions. A large blaze was visible over the industrial area.

Stavropol Krai Governor Vladimir Vladimirov confirmed three separate fire outbreaks—two in the industrial zone near the Vyazniki hamlet and another in the northern part of Stavropol. According to him, flammable materials detonated at the industrial facilities.

According to Astra, three oil depots were hit. One of them belongs to Rosneft. Another is located on Promyshlennaya Street, where the Korona and MK-Nefteprodukt companies operate.

The Stavropol oil depot, operated by LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt LLC, was also likely struck.

According to open-source data, the facility has 42 tanks with a total capacity of about 57.6 thousand cubic meters and is used for receiving, storing, and shipping gasoline, diesel fuel, and lubricants.

This is not the first attack on the oil depot in question. Previously, Ukrainian drones successfully struck it on 9 July, and amother strike was carried out on 13 July, after which a fire also broke out.

At the same time, Russia’s Ministry of Defence said that on the night of 19 July, Russian air defences allegedly intercepted and destroyed 140 Ukrainian drones over Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kaluga, Kursk, and Rostov Regions, the Moscow Region, Krasnodar Krai, temporarily occupied Crimea, as well as over the waters of the Sea of Azov and the Black Sea.

Meanwhile, Stavropol Krai is once again not mentioned in the Russian Defence Ministry’s report.
