In Zaporizhzhya, two people were injured as a result of a massive Russian drone strike, and fires broke out at several sites.

This was reported by Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

“At several locations, a warehouse at a furniture factory, an administrative building, a warehouse and workshop at an enterprise, an academic building of one of the higher education institutions, the roof of a residential building, outbuildings, and garages were on fire. The blast wave and debris damaged private homes and nearby buildings,” the statement said.

Firefighting efforts were complicated by constant threats of repeat strikes. Rescuers were forced to take shelter for safety.

All fires have now been extinguished. The injured are receiving the necessary assistance, and the number of casualties is being clarified. All emergency services were working at the scene.
