President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a security meeting on the situation at the front and defence operations on key directions.
According to the head of state, those taking part in the meeting included Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhaylo Drapatyy, Commander of the Air Assault Forces Oleh Apostol, Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Robert Brovdi, Commander of the 3rd Army Corps Andriy Biletskyy, Commander of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov Denys Prokopenko, and Head of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Military Administration Ivan Fedorov.
“The main focus is the real state of affairs on the front line, what is needed to increase the effectiveness of our soldiers, and the situation in Zaporizhzhya. I instructed that the protection of the city and the region be strengthened, and those directions on which other cities and communities also depend,” Zelenskyy said.
The President also reported that, to increase the effectiveness of the defence of Donetsk Region, two groupings will be formed, to be commanded by Biletskyy and Prokopenko.
