Ukraine is holding talks with partners and is expecting new support packages.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in his evening video address on 13 October, president Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported.

“There will be good decisions in support of Ukraine this week; we are preparing them now. I continue to stay in touch with all our partners who can help us and who are always effective. I will speak with Denmark today; I will speak with Lithuania — with the prime ministers. Tomorrow there will be important talks in Britain. This week also includes talks with the European Union. There will be support packages for Ukraine, and we are also moving forward in negotiations on accession to the European Union,” the head of state said.

Zelenskyy added that Ukraine is also opening two clusters and that “by the end of the year we must open all six negotiating clusters — that is our plan, and it is a priority”.

“We are also working to secure full financial support for Ukraine and for Ukrainians, and to deliver on our agreements with Europe. Today I want to thank our parliamentarians and our government officials: this week there are necessary decisions — necessary laws and necessary government decisions,” the president concluded.
