During the latest phase of Operation Vivaldi, Ukrainian defenders struck Russia’s TOS-3 ‘Dragon’ heavy flamethrower system for the first time.
The Third Army Corps reported this on Telegram.
The enemy’s latest development was hit by MURAMASA operators from the 21st Separate Special Purpose Battalion KRAKEN.
“Another result of the Third’s systematic work to destroy enemy weapons and weaken the enemy’s combat capabilities,” the corps wrote.
- Last week, the commander of the “Third”, Andrii Biletskyi, said that as part of the fourth phase of Operation “Vivaldi”, Ukrainian troops regained control of 101 km² of territory and liberated Zelena Dolyna, Lypove and Kolodiazi. Russian army losses over this period totalled about 3,000 troops.
