The 1,703rd day of Russia’s full-scale armed aggression against Ukraine has begun. In total, 165 combat engagements were recorded over the past day. The heaviest fighting was on the Pokrovsk, Kostiantynivka and Huliaipole axes.
This is stated in the General Staff’s report.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out three missile strikes and 76 air strikes, including dropping 239 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the invaders used 10,313 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,781 attacks on populated areas and our troops’ positions.
In Sumy region, the settlements of Mala Korchakivka, Nova Sich, Ulanove, Yunakivka, Shalyhyne, Luzhky and Vyntorivka came under enemy artillery fire. Air strikes hit the areas of Luzhky and Khotin.
Over the past day, aircraft, missile forces and artillery of the Defence Forces struck two areas where enemy infantry were concentrated and one command post for unmanned aerial vehicles.
On the North Slobozhanskyi axis the invaders attacked twice in the areas of Ulanove and Korchakivka.
On the South Slobozhanskyi axis Ukrainian units repelled 14 enemy attacks. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Kovalivka, Anyshchyne, Izbytske, Radkivka and Vilkhuvatka.
On the Kupiansk axis the enemy attacked once in the area of Petropavlivka.
Enemy attempts to advance were halted on the Lyman axis, where our defenders repelled five attacks in the areas of Katerynivka, Kolodiazi and Lyman.
On the Sloviansk axis the enemy carried out one attack in the area of Mykolaivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis the enemy did not conduct assault operations over the past day.
On the Kostiantynivka axis 11 attacks were recorded. The occupiers conducted assault operations in the areas of Druzhkivka, Novoselivka, Kostiantynivka, Dovha Balka and Pavlivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis our defenders stopped 15 attacks. The enemy attacked in the areas of Serhiivka, Molodetske and Novopavlivka, and also carried out assaults towards Kucheriv Yar, Svitle, Sofiivka, Vilne, Novyi Donbas and Myrne.
On the Oleksandrivka axis the enemy did not conduct active offensive operations.
On the Huliaipole axis 12 attacks by the invaders were repelled in the areas of Charivne, Ternuvate, Verkhnia Tersa, Kosivtseve, Vozdvyzhivka, Kopani, Novoselivka and Bilohiria.
On the Orikhiv axis our defenders repelled one enemy attack in the area of Lukianivske.
On the Dnipro axis no active enemy operations were recorded.
On the Volyn and Polissia axes the situation remains largely unchanged. No signs of the enemy forming offensive groupings have been detected.
- Overall, over the past day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 1,830 personnel. Also neutralised were three armoured combat vehicles, 54 artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, one air defence asset, six ground robotic systems, 2,067 unmanned aerial vehicles, 447 vehicles and five pieces of the enemy’s specialised equipment.
