Over the course of the week, the Defence Forces neutralised 2,282 Russian attack drones. In total, the enemy deployed 2,597 UAVs of the "Shahed-131/136/238", "Parodiya" and "Gerbera" types.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Russia continues massive aerial attacks against Ukraine, using attack drones to strike critical infrastructure and to maintain constant terror against the civilian population," the statement said.

During the week, the enemy used 2,597 "Shahed-131/136/238", "Parodiya" and "Gerbera" UAVs. Ukraine’s Defence Forces neutralised 2,282 of them. Interception effectiveness over the week exceeded 87%.

The enemy is refining its drone tactics, using different routes and flight altitudes, combining attack drones with decoys, and attempting to overwhelm Ukraine’s air defences with the number of simultaneous aerial threats.

The neutralisation of enemy UAVs is carried out by aviation, anti-aircraft missile units, mobile fire groups, electronic warfare assets and operators of unmanned systems.

The General Staff stresses that even effective air defence work does not eliminate the threat entirely. Ukrainians are urged not to ignore air-raid alerts and not to share information about air defence operations.

Ukraine’s Defence Forces continue to strengthen a multi-layered air defence system and improve methods for detecting and neutralising enemy targets.
