On 25 October and overnight into 26 October, units of Ukraine’s Defence Forces struck a number of military facilities belonging to the Russian army.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukraine’s Defence Forces hit a communications hub of a Russian army unit in the Melitopol area of Zaporizhzhia region. This disrupts the enemy’s communications and command and control.
Occupiers’ command posts in the Myrnohrad area of Donetsk region and near the settlement of Chervonohirka in Zaporizhzhia region were also struck. This complicates the coordination of Russian units on the battlefield.
In addition, the Defence Forces hit an enemy drone command post near the settlement of Vyshneve and a UAV workshop in the Melitopol area of Zaporizhzhia region. According to the military, this reduces the Russian army’s ability to use drones to attack Defence Forces positions and frontline communities.
Further targets included Russian army logistics depots in the areas of the settlements of Komisarivka and Katerynivka in Luhansk region. The destruction of stockpiles complicates the supply of Russian units.
The Defence Forces said that work against the enemy’s key military targets will continue until Russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine is brought to a complete end.
- On Sunday, 25 October and overnight into 26 October, the Defence Forces struck a power-cell components production workshop at the Energiya plant in the city of Yelets, Lipetsk region, Russia. A fire broke out on the plant’s premises.
