Over the past day, Russian forces shelled 31 settlements in Sumy region. In total, 93 strikes were recorded. Eight people were injured.
This was reported by the National Police.
In the Sumy community, as a result of enemy drone attacks, a 41-year-old man and an 85-year-old woman were injured. A shop and cars were damaged.
In the Putyvl community, a 40-year-old man was injured as a result of a strike by an enemy UAV. A garage building was damaged.
In the Shostka community, as a result of enemy drone attacks, a 55-year-old woman and men aged 32, 57, 48 and 40 were injured. Apartment blocks and private houses were damaged.
In the Berezivka, Verkhniosyrovatka, Seredyna-Buda, Trostianets and Mykolaivka communities, private houses were damaged.
In all cases, investigators opened criminal proceedings under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (war crimes). The investigation is ongoing.
