In some regions of Ukraine, on 29 October, hourly electricity outages will be introduced for all categories of consumers, along with power restrictions for industry.
This is reported by NPC Ukrenergo.
The restrictions will be in force from 06:00 to 23:59 and will include:
- power restrictions for industry;
- hourly outage schedules for all categories of consumers, amounting to between 1.5 and 2.5 groups.
The restrictions are due to the consequences of massive Russian attacks on energy facilities.
Ukrenergo notes that the situation in the power system may change as a result of Russian shelling. Consumers are advised to follow announcements and outage schedules on the official pages of distribution system operators in their regions.
Ukrainians are also urged to use electricity sparingly when it is available according to the schedule.
- Konotop in Sumy region has remained without electricity for the fifth day after a Russian attack on an energy infrastructure facility.
