A temporary deterioration in ambient air quality is being observed in three localities in the Kyiv region.
This was reported by the Kyiv Regional Military Administration.
The areas concerned are Ivankiv, Bila Tserkva and Brovary. The main pollutant is fine particulate matter, the level of which is gradually decreasing.
In other localities across the region, no exceedances of permissible levels of chemical and biological substances in the ambient air have been recorded.
As the Regional Military Administration noted, moderate winds and cloud cover are helping to mix air masses and rapidly disperse harmful substances.
