Ukraine’s Defence Minister Yevhenii Khmara and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Mykhailo Drapatyi held a joint meeting.
This was reported by Ukraine’s Ministry of Defence.
“We focused on the situation on the frontline, Russia’s plans, in particular regarding mobilisation, the enemy’s possible next actions, key security risks and the urgent needs of the Defence Forces. We also separately discussed countering the enemy’s air attacks,” the statement said.
Following the meeting, they set priorities and agreed on further steps. These include developing the Defence Forces’ capabilities, strengthening the defence system, supplying the military and ramping up production within Ukraine’s defence-industrial complex.
They also set tasks for planning combat operations at tactical and operational depth.
