Since the start of 2026, units of the 23rd Khortytsia Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine have destroyed more than 10,000 enemy drones that were heading for Zaporizhzhia.
The brigade reported this on Facebook.
Among those destroyed:
- 7,955 Molniya-type UAVs;
- 1,428 FPV drones;
- 289 Shahed/Gerbera-type UAVs;
- 187 reconnaissance and multi-purpose UAVs;
- 148 Lancet-type loitering munitions.
On average, 33 aerial targets are destroyed every day. These include strike drones, loitering munitions, reconnaissance drones and systems the enemy uses to adjust fire and deliver devastating strikes.
“Behind this result is intense and risky round-the-clock combat work, timely detection of aerial threats, and the professionalism and precision of the crews’ actions. 10,000 destroyed targets means lives saved, as well as vehicles, homes and critical and civilian infrastructure facilities,” the brigade added.
