Over the past day, 519 people were evacuated from frontline населённые пункты in Donetsk Region, including 44 children. Russian forces shelled the region 23 times.
This was reported by the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, Vadym Filashkin.
In the Kramatorsk district, Sloviansk was hit hardest. Two people were killed and another 12 were injured. The shelling damaged 30 private houses, a multi-storey residential building, a petrol station, a post office branch, technical facilities and two cars.
In Kramatorsk, two people were injured. Two private houses and a car were also damaged.
In Druzhkivka, a further two people were injured as a result of Russian shelling.
- Earlier, Filashkin reported that over the past day, the occupiers killed two civilians in Donetsk Region, and another 16 people were injured.
