The HACC Appeals Chamber has left unchanged the preventive measures for a former deputy head of a department at the Prosecutor General’s Office and another suspect.
This was reported by the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
The statement does not name anyone, but it appears to refer to Serhii Kropyva.
“On 5 November 2026, the HACC Appeals Chamber considered the defence’s appeals against the rulings of HACC investigating judges dated 29.10.2026 extending the period of detention in custody for the former deputy head of the International Cooperation Department of the Office of the Prosecutor General and another suspect. As an alternative, the investigating judges set bail in the amounts of UAH 93.184 million and UAH 15 million respectively,” they said.
As of the morning of 6 November, bail had not been posted and the suspects remain in custody.
Following the review, the panel of judges of the HACC Appeals Chamber dismissed the defence’s appeals and left the rulings of the HACC investigating judges unchanged.
The rulings entered into force upon pronouncement and are not subject to cassation appeal.
