As a result of the terrorist attack in Nice (France) one citizen of Ukraine was killed and another wounded, Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mariana Bets told LB.ua on 15 July.
"According to preliminary information, one Ukrainian citizen was killed and one wounded," said Betz.
She said the ministry continues to verify information on the presence of Ukrainian citizens among the victims. An emergency hot line is up, she said.
Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin expressed condolences to the victims of the terrorist act in Nice. "I'm shocked by the Nice attack. Praying for the victims," the minister wrote on Twitter in the early hours of 15 July.
Ukrainians stand together with the people of France, Klimkin said.
