Over the past day, the occupation troops 22 times opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian military in the zone of the antiterrorist operation in Donbas. Despite provocations, Ukrainian troops comply with Minsk agreements, the press center of the ATO stated on Facebook.
In Donetsk sector, the militants 10 times breached the regime of silence. They fired grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms in the areas of Avdiyivka, Luhanske, Mayorske, Novoselivka and Verhnyotoretske. Avdiyivka was also shelled from 82mm mortars.
In Mariupol sector, eight attacks have been recorded. In the areas of Shyrokyne, Maryinka Vodyane, Starohnativka, Bohdanivka and Pavlopil, the militants led indiscriminate fire from grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms.
In the sector of Luhansk, the militants four times violated the ceasefire, carrying armed provocations in the area of Novooleksandrivka and Novozvanivka. The terrorists used small arms and fired grenade launchers. In the area of Novozvanivka, Ukrainian troops withheld a clash with a militant saboteur group.
Enemy drone were reported active in the ATO zone.
According to ATO staff, the militants have focused mainly on increasing the units of the first echelon, improving the system of fortifications of defensive lines.
On Monday, MEPs Rebecca Harms, Michal Boni and Jaromir Stetina visited Maryinka, which is immediately adjacent to Donetsk, occupied by militants.
