Over the past day,-Russian occupation forces 40 times opened fire on the positions of the Ukrainian military in Donbas. This is the largest number of attacks since 15 September, when the ceasefire was announced, the headquarters of ATO said on 27 September.
The Luhansk sector saw breaches of ceasefire. The enemy resorted to armed provocations firing grenade launchers, machine guns and small arms in the areas of Novooleksandrivka, Novozvanivka and Stanytsya Luhanska.
In Mariupol sector, 18 violations of ceasefire were reported. In the areas Mariyinkam, Starohnativka, Shyrokyne and Pavlopil, the militants fired small arms and rocket-propelled grenades.
Marinka was under sniper fire, Starohnativka was attacked by from IFV-mounted weaponry.
Donetsk sector saw 12 enemy attacks. The terrorists fired 82- and 120-mm mortars at Zaitsevo, and 120-mm mortar at Nyzhnya Lozova. In the areas Verhnyotoretske, Zaitsevo, Avdiyivka and lower Lozove, the militants used small arms and machine guns. Enemy IFVs fired at ATO troops in the areas of Zaitseve and Nyzhnya Lozova.
From September 15, the number of daily attacks did not exceed 30. The militants used almost no heavy weapons.
