November inflation in Ukraine reaches 1.8 per cent

Consumer prices went 12.1 per cent up compared with a year before.

Consumer prices in Ukraine in November 2016 went 1.8 per cent up compared with the previous month, the State Statistics Service has said.

The prices of food and non-alcoholic drinks went 1 per cent up, clothes and shoes 0.5 per cent down, utility bills 5.3 per cent up, health services 0.3 per cent up, and education 0.3 per cent up

In January-November, Ukraine posted a 11.4 per cent inflation.

Compared with November 2015, consumer prices went 12.1 per cent up last month.

The 2016 state budget was based on a 12 per cent inflation growth forecast.
