President set to snub Ukrainian Lunch in Davos
The decision was made after Pinchuk's controversial article.
President Petro Poroshenko will not attend the traditional Ukrainian Lunch in Davos (Switzerland), organized by the Foundation of Victor Pinchuk, Ukrainian tycoon and philanthropist.
A source in the foreign ministry told lb.ua that the decision was made after the publication of the Wall Street Journal article by Victor Pinchuk with proposals for resolving the conflict between Ukraine and Russia.
"The president will have its own program in Davos, but definitely will not attend Pinchuk after the article," a foreign ministry official told LB.ua.
Pinchuk has been annually giving Ukrainian Lunch at the World Economic Forum in Davos where Ukraine's development trends are discussed.
The World Economic Forum will be held January 17-20 this year.
