The employees of Prosecutor-General's Office are searching the headquarters of the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine in Kyiv, the state authorized representative in the AMCU Svitlana Panayotidi told an lb.ua reporter on 31 March.

Panayotidi confirmed the fact of searches and said that prosecutors have produced a search warrant issued by the Kyiv's Pechersk District Court.

Prosecutor-General Yuriy Lutsenko said the law enforcers investigate a case of the monopoly distributor of tobacco products Tedis-Ukraine, and the disclosure of a scheme for massive tax evasion and withdrawal of proceeds abroad, including for financing terrorism.
