Turkey will provide Ukraine with 3m dollars in assistance to equip the army, Ukraine's ambassador to Turkey Andriy Sybiha said told journalists in Ankara on 15 December.
"Before the year end, I will sign another contract that provides for Turkey's allocation of 9 mn lire (3 mn dollars) to help the Ukrainian Army," the diplomat said.
According to him, a similar agreement was signed last year.
In general, five such 3-mn-dollar agreements will be signed, they provide for direct financial assistance to Ukraine for the purchase of military equipment.
