The Kherson house of Petro Poroshenko Bloc MP Oleksandr Spivakovskyy caught fire last night, the regional police have said.
They added that they were notified about the roof of the house being in flames.
The fire was extinguished at 03.40 a.m. No-one was hurt.
According to a source quoted by Depo.ua, the house was set ablaze using a flare gun.
"The roof has burnt down in full. It was a miracle that firefighters localized the fire. He received threats three days ago," the source said.
Spivakovskyy was elected to parliament from election constituency 182 in Kherson Region.
