Bill on indigenous people
Parliament has passed the bill on indigenous people (5506). According to the bill sponsored by the president, Crimean Tatars, Crimean Karaites and Krymchaks should be considered indigenous peoples of Ukraine.
Deputy Prime Minister for Temporarily Occupied Territories Oleksiy Reznikov has described the bill as historic.
Deoligarchisation bill
Parliament has given the first reading to the so-called bill on oligarchs which seeks to limit their influence on the media and politicians.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has thanked MPs for supporting his bill. "Oligarchs are a thing of the past. All of them must become simply big businessmen. We need transparent economic relations and equal rules of the game for all," he tweeted.
European Solidarity MP Viktoriya Syumar described the bill as a "comedy" and a "big corruption scheme".
Farmland sale
The moratorium on the sale of farmland in Ukraine expired on 1 July 2021. According to the Justice Ministry, 33 deals have been registered by 2 p.m. today.
NBU exodus
Oleh Novakovskyy, head of the Credit Analysis and Liquidity Support Department at the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), has announced his resignation. He follows in the footsteps of the heads of the Licensing and Financial Stability Departments. At least some of them did it in protest against the centralization of decision-making in one hands and the risk of skidding reforms.

A Ukrainian serviceman sustained a fragmentation wound near as a result of shelling by Russia-backed militants, the East Operational-Tactical Group has said.
Coronavirus
Ukraine expects to receive 2m doses of the US Moderna vaccine in July under the COVAX facility, RBC-Ukraine quoted Health Minister Viktor Lyashko as saying.
Transport
Ukraine and Kuwait will resume direct air link after a long break, Ukrainian Deputy Foreign Minister Dmytro Senika has tweeted. The first flight from Kuwait City to Kyiv will be carried out on 13 July.

Parliament has restored the historical name of the village of Novhorodske in Donetsk Region back to New York at the request of its residents.
