This is stated in the report of the head of the Sumy oblast military administration Dmytro Zhyvytsky and the head of the regional military administration Denys Vashchenko on the operational situation in the Romny district.
“Currently, the occupiers have seized MBP Druzhba-Nova (Kernel) in Bilovodske village that is situated in the Romny district. 225 units of military equipment were driven there. There is heavy equipment, artillery," - Vashchenko said.
He also said that local residents had moved away and were sitting in basements, because Russian soldiers had already visited the neighboring village of Bilovody - they arrived there on 4 IFVs, shot, looted and threatened locals.
"Now (Russian troops. - Ed.) returned to the base, demanding a negotiator, SSU, mayor! Everyone is afraid to go to them, because they shoot on the spot. They dug in there, snipers are sitting on the roof for three days. Installed weapons around. They dig a pit with bulldozers and tractors. They are either building fortifications there or something, it is unclear," - the statement said.
