People stepped out with Ukrainian flags. They go to the city council building. Slogans against Russian occupiers are constantly heard from the crowd. Residents chant that Nova Kakhovka is a Ukrainian city.
The participants of the procession also sang the anthem of Ukraine loudly.
It is not the first protest against the presence of Russians in the occupied cities.
The rally also takes place in Genichesk, Kherson Region, temporarily occupied.
Mainly, in the city of Bilokurakyno (Luhansk Region), the civilians took part in a Ukrainian patriotic rally. On the 5th of March, a spontaneous rally against the Russian occupiers began outside the Regional State Administration building in the central square of Kherson. The occupiers fired in the air to disperse 2,000 civilians. Subsequently, peaceful protesters managed to temporarily run off the equipment of the invaders from the city center.
Against the presence of Russian occupiers also rallied in Berdiansk and Melitopol.
