According to the US Department of Defense, Russia had already used 95% of the forces and assets concentrated near Ukraine's borders before the invasion.

This news was reported by the BBC with reference to the traditional briefing of a senior Pentagon official for the media.

At the same time, the US Department of Defense did not record a significant advance of Russian troops over the last day. The 64-kilometer convoy near Kyiv is still there, and outside observers have suggested it got stuck in the swamps and most likely burned all the fuel.

The Pentagon staff member also stated: - There are no landings in the Odessa area yet, and there are no signs that such a landing will begin soon. - the Russian Air Force still does not control the airspace over Ukraine. Ukrainian warplanes and helicopters are flying; air defense is operating. Since the beginning of the invasion of Ukraine on 24 February 2022, Russia has launched about 600 missiles.

According to the General Staff, the enemy continues the attack operation, focusing on the encirclement of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Mykolayiv. Also, they are making attempts to move on the way to the administrative borders in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions, creating a land corridor from the temporarily occupied territory Autonomous Republic of Crimea to Mariupol - Novoazovsk.The General Staff also notes that the Russian army has started accumulating resources for the onslaught of Kyiv. As of the morning of March 6th, 2022, the losses of the occupiers exceed 11,000 killed.
