Since the invasion of Ukraine, the Russian army has destroyed or damaged 211 schools.
The Minister of Education and Science Serhiy Shkarlet informed this news, reports Ukrinform.
According to Shkarlet, an interactive map is being created in Ukraine. This map will record Russia's crimes against civilians, including those committed in the area of educational infrastructure.
The Minister of Education also noted that the schools have been closed for a two-week vacation since the beginning of Russian aggression. When the vacation is over, the educational process should restart.
"Since the beginning of the aggression, we have announced a two-week vacation. Next week, the educational process should not be interrupted, and we will recommend restarting it where it is possible. Many children have left for the [rural] regions of Ukraine, where there is still an opportunity to conduct an educational process, "said the Minister.
According to his words, individual or distance education will be recommended in regions where there are no conditions to restart a regular school education.
As of 12 o'clock on March 6th, 2022, since the beginning of the invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, 38 children were killed, and another 71 were injured.
