British rock musician Sting performed a song in support of Ukraine, which is fighting against the Russian occupiers.
He posted a video of the song on Instagram.
"I rarely sang this song (Russians from The Dream of the Blue Turtles (1985) - ed.) for many years since it was written, because I never thought it would be relevant again. But in the sight of the bloody and horribly wrong decision of one man to invade a peaceful, non-threatening neighbor, it is again a call to our humanity," Sting wrote.
This song is for the brave Ukrainians who are fighting against this brutal tyranny, as well as many Russians who are protesting against that violence, despite the threat of arrest and imprisonment. We all love our children. Stop the war,” the musician told his subscribers.
Stephen King is considered to be one of the most popular foreign performers in the Russian music market. As a multiple Grammy and Golden Globe winner, and four-time Oscar nominee, he has given several concerts in Ukraine as part of his world tour.
