The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba addressed a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the North Atlantic Alliance, at which NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg reaffirmed that the organization will not create a no-fly zone over Ukraine. Kuleba posted a video of his speech in his Twitter account.
In particular, Kuleba compared Russia's actions in Ukraine to its tactics in Syria, where it also resorted to bombing civilians.
"We must not allow them to create Syria in Europe. We are ready to fight, we will continue to fight, but you have to help us. Otherwise, I am afraid, you will have to share the responsibility for the deaths and suffering of Ukrainian civilians who died because of ruthless Russian pilots who dropped bombs on them," the Minister warned.
He said that many participants of the meeting in the last eight days had informed him of the decision to provide military assistance from their countries expressing hope that "it is not too late".
"I am convinced that this war is moving in such a direction that the time will come when you will be ready to give us anything - literally anything we need to prevent Putin from hitting you and turning Europe into a horror. And my hope, my only hope, is that it won't be too late," he concluded.
