On Friday, 4 March, the Czech Republic authorities have decided to introduce an emergency regime for a month, but the deadline may be extended if necessary.
The Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Petr Fiala stated this during a briefing, UNIAN reports.
"About 30,000 refugees from Ukraine have already arrived in the Czech Republic. The government is announcing an emergency regime on Friday, 4 March to organize their accommodation in our country more effectively," said the Prime Minister.
Centres for reception and registration of citizens have opened in connection with the record flow of refugees from Ukraine in all country regions. The government is currently drafting many bills to give refugees access to the labour market.
