US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken addressed the people of Ukraine and noted that Ukrainians "inspire the world" in the fight against Russia's military aggression.
"I want to address the people of Ukraine directly. Your courage and devotion to your country, culture and democracy is a source of inspiration for the whole world. We have been and will remain #UnitedWithUkraine," Blinken wrote on Twitter.
He also addressed Ukrainians:
"Ukrainian people, let me simply say. We feel this all around the world. We see your incredible courage, resilience, and determination, and it is inspiring. It is time to strengthen our faith, and you are strengthening our faith in democracy, freedom, the ability of the peace to defeat aggression, the ability of good to defeat evil. We prove this because you prove it. You demonstrate it. You show it to the world, and the whole world is with you. Keep the faith, and we will do the same. In the end, both you and we will win."
