EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas posted a photo of the Russian occupiers' marker for the purpose of identifying a target on his Twitter account.
"More "diplomatic casualties" to come?" Maasikas wrote.
He noted that "similar markers were found on more than one building of diplomatic missions in Kyiv." However, the ambassador did not specify which.

On 24th February, the Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Herashchenko reported that the Russian occupiers leave on the Ukrainian roads so-called night tags to identify targets. He advised to cover them with paint or with earth.
The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine soon reported that Russian war criminals and their helpers in Ukraine had begun to leave marks on Ukrzaliznytsia's facilities.
The Kyiv City State Administration stated that in Ukraine, the number of detected tags increased, in the capital in particular. The saboteurs leave them in streets, on houses, and on enterprise buildings. Law enforcement officers identify and detain citizens who put such tags for a payment.
