The Chief Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague, Karim Khan, asks everyone who has documentary evidence of war crimes committed by Russia in Ukraine, send these materials to his email.

This is announced on the page of the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine.

The Prosecutor asks people to write to his email: [email protected].

It is possible to write in any language — it will be translated.

"Send photos, videos, documents, eyewitness statements," the message says.

Here are the kinds of facts that need to be reported:

- killings of civilians by Russian occupiers

- barbaric missile, bombing and artillery attacks on hospitals, schools, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

We remind you that the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court in The Hague Karim Khan (UK) himself initiated the investigation of war crimes committed by Russia against Ukraine. He qualifies the occupier’s actions as “war crimes” and “crimes against humanity”.

He notes that Ukraine is not a State Party to the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court (ICC or the Court), so cannot itself refer the situation to his office.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs believes that the supreme military and political authorities of Russia are bound to be brought to justice before the International Criminal Court and to be held responsible for every war crime they committed. It will be the Nuremberg trials of the 21st century.
