The Russian army has scaled up their attempts to capture Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Station.

This is reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Despite the fact that the territorial defense and local people have blocked the ways to Enerhodar, two tanks and two armored personnel carriers approached the city trying to break through the defense. They are starting chaotic shooting with firearms. Also the occupiers are attempting to break artificial obstacles and access the road leading to the station,” the office states.

We remind you that on 1 March Russian armed forces approached the security checkpoint of Enerhodar. According to the mayor Dmytro Orlov, the sides engaged in negotiations.

After the meeting with Russian occupiers, the mayor of Enerhodar wrote on his Telegram channel that “for the third time already!!! people of Enerhodar stand at the entry to the city and block it. Thousands of people have come to show that there is NO NEED to rescue them… The result for now is that, for the umpteenth time, we strongly recommend the unwelcome “guests” not to approach the city”.
