The relics of St. Teresa of Lisieux and her parents, the first canonized couple of Saints Louis and Zella Martin, may soon be brought to Ukraine from France.

This was reported on the Facebook page of the Embassy of Ukraine in France.

"We have been promised and decided that all these holy relics will visit Ukraine in the nearest future. Before that, they will be exhibited in the Cathedral of St. Volodymyr the Great in Paris and in all Ukrainian churches in France," said Vadym Omelchenko - the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to France.

According to the embassy, the other day in the crypt of the Cathedral of St. Teresa of Lisieux near the altar of Ukraine was a service of God for peace in our country "and for the courageous Ukrainian people who oppose Russian aggression." During the prayer of the relics of St. The scales were placed on the Ukrainian altar.

It will be recalled that on March 2, during a meeting with pilgrims, Pope Francis stressed that the world community accompanies "all the people suffering from the bombing."

On 23 February, during a traditional audience, the Pontiff proclaimed an appeal for peace in Ukraine. The head of the Catholic Church addressed the faithful and all people of good will and declared 2 March as a day of fasting for peace in Ukraine.
