Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces Bohdan Bondar will now head the State Special Transport Service (SSTS).
The decree was issued by Volodymyr Zelensky, according to the website of the President of Ukraine.
"To appoint Major General BONDAR Bohdan Volodymyrovych as the Head of the Administration of the State Special Transport Service," the text of the document reads.
SSTS is a specialized state body of transport within the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, which is designed to ensure the sustainable functioning of transport in peacetime and in martial law and emergency.
We remind, that the Verkhovna Rada reassigned SSTS from the Ministry of Infrastructure to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in December, 2017.
