Foreign Affairs Minister Dmytro Kuleba called on foreign partners to finally provide Ukraine with combat aircraft.
"Our aces heroically defend our skies. But Russia has advantage. Dear partners who still have not provided Ukraine with military aircraft: how can you sleep when Ukrainian children are under bombs in Mariupol, Kherson, Kharkiv, other cities?" he wrote it on Twitter.
Kuleba also stressed that this decision should be made "now".
"Do it," the minister said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine also demands to close the sky over Ukraine as soon as possible.
Earlier, international partners promised to hand over 70 aircrafts to Ukraine. They could be based on Polish airfields from which Ukrainian pilots will perform tactical missions.
