One of the reserve offices of the “Come Back Alive” Foundation spent almost 360 million hryvnias during the first week of the war to buy the necessary equipment for defense. This was reported by the fund.
In particular, the volunteers purchased optical sights, night vision sights, thermal imagers, thermal field cameras, television monoculars and binoculars. Indifferent citizens from abroad delivered 659,659 thermal imagers, thermal sights, and other thermal imaging optics that cost almost UAH 52 million, the fund said.
Also, "Come Back Alive" bought almost 2,000 quadcopters and octocopters of various modifications, UAV batteries and various equipment, radio transmitters, communication equipment, computers, batteries, ammunition (sleeping bags, bulletproof vests, helmets), etc.
The fund provided a complete list of purchased things with price, quantity, and total sum of money spent.
As a reminder, "Come Back Alive" is one of the largest funds to help the Armed Forces and veterans of the Ukrainian-Russian war. It specializes in technical supplies, mostly, night optics. In addition, it is involved with educational, medical, psychological projects, rehabilitation and reintegration of veterans, as well as work in other areas.
