This afternoon in Makarov, Kyiv region, 13 people died as a result of an air strike on a bread factory carried out by Russian forces.

Also today, the Regional Disaster Response Teams of the Red Cross of Ukraine, together with local authorities, representatives of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (SES), police and volunteers helped to evacuate local people from the city of Irpin and the village Makariv.
The evacuation was carried out on foot, followed by buses arranged to the “Pivdenny” bus station.
Around 2,000 people were evacuated from the city of Irpin today. Two teams of ambulances escorted buses carrying people, most of them women and children. The wounded were also evacuated from Irpen Hospital to Kyiv Hospital.
The number of evacuees from Makarov is being clarified. Among them were six bedridden patients and two people in wheelchairs.
