By his decree, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky formed the Supreme Commander-in-Chief rate. This is stated in a presidential decree.
"In the connection with the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which threatens its state independence and territorial integrity, to ensure the strategic leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other military formations and law enforcement agencies (…), I decide to form a Supreme Commander-in-Chief rate," say the documents.
The chairman of the rate is the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky. The coordinator of the rate is the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksiy Danilov. The members of the rate: Chairman of the SSU Ivan Bakanov, Head of the Central Intelligence Agency Kyrylo Budanov, Commander of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Hryhoriy Galahan, Commander of the Territorial Defense Forces of the Armed Forces Yuri Galushkin, Head of the State Border Guard Service Serhiy Deyneko, Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, Chief of the National Police Igor Klimenko, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba, Acting Commander of the National Guard Yuri Lebid, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, Head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Commander of the Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Maxim Myrhorodsky, Minister of Internal Affairs Denis Monastyrsky, Minister of Defense Alexei Reznikov, Serhiy Rud, Head of the State Protection Department, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, Head of the State Service for Special Communications and Information Protection Yuriy Shchyhol.
A reminder: on February 24 the president of Ukraine signed the decree on the general mobilization. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been instructed to determine the order and amounts of conscription of conscripts, reservists and vehicles of the national economy within the general mobilization period.
