137 Ukrainian citizens died today because of Russian invaders’ action.
It was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky in his addressing to people.
The President said that according to preliminary information, Ukraine has lost 137 of heroes today. They are military and civilian citizens. There are also part of heroically died military people who defended Zmiiniy Ostriv. However they did not give up and would be awarded with the title “Hero of Ukraine” after the death. He also said that hundreds of people were injured.
The president also added that he is grateful to all those who are rescuing people now and helping to maintain order. The enemy strikes not only military facilities, as he claims, but also civilians.
