The President believes that if the world partners do not close the sky or at least do not give airplanes for Ukrainians to defend themselves, it means that they also want us to be killed slowly.

On March 6, Russia fired 8 missiles at Vinnytsia. This was stated by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.

"8 missiles against our city, our peaceful, kind Vinnytsia, which has never threatened Russia. Not in any way. Tough, cynical missile strike. Completely destroyed airport. They continue to destroy our infrastructure, our lives that we, our parents, built," said the president.

He once again called for the sky over Ukraine to be closed.

"Close the door to all Russian missiles, Russian combat aviation, to all these terrorists. Make a humanitarian air zone without missiles, air bombs. We are human beings, and it is your humanitarian duty to protect people, ” he stressed.

Zelensky believes that if the world's partners do not close the sky or at least do not give Ukraine airplanes for this, then one can only conclude – they also want us to be killed slowly.

"It is also the responsibility of the world's leaders and politicians. Western leaders. From now on and forever, " said Volodymyr Zelensky.

As a reminder, as a result of a missile attack on Vinnytsia region, the airfield of Havryshivka was destroyed.

Ukraine calls for the sky above it to be closed to enemy aviation from the first day of the full-scale war. Closure of the sky means that it is patrolled by military aviation, airspace is guarded by AD systems. When the sky is closed, all military aircraft flying into the closed zone are shot down. NATO at the summit decided not to close the sky over Ukraine.
