Prosecutors of the Svativka District Prosecutor Department of Luhansk Region have registered criminal proceedings over the seizure of state buildings.
It was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office.
"It has been determined that from March 5 to 6, 2022, unidentified armed men in military uniform of the Russian Federation illegally seized the premises of one of the police departments of the Main Department of the National Police in Luhansk region," - the General Prosecutor's Office press service informed.
Currently, all possible and appropriate measures are being taken in the criminal proceedings to establish the circumstances of the event and the persons involved, the Prosecutor General's Office stressed.
It will be recalled that the day before the Luhansk and Donetsk regional prosecutor's offices opened criminal proceedings on the facts of illegal deportation and forced mobilization of residents of the temporarily occupied territories in eastern Ukraine.
Besides Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine opened criminal proceedings after statements of State Duma deputies and participants of the Security Council meeting of the Russian Federation to recognize "LDNR".
