Podolyak on the third round of talks with Russia: "There are no results that will significantly improve the situation yet"

The third round of talks with the Russian Federation, which is attacking Ukraine, is over. This was announced by the adviser to the head of the President's Office, Mykhaylo Podolyak.

"The third round of talks is over. There are small positive developments in improving the logistics of humanitarian corridors. Some changes will be made, and people suffering from aggression will receive help," he said.

Intensive consultations will be continued regarding main political issues and the ceasefire and security guarantees.

"In terms of the key political issues, which includes the ceasefire, truce, and cessation of hostilities in general, intensive consultations will be continued. Currently, there are no results that will significantly improve the situation. Nevertheless, consultations will be continued," said Podolyak.

As a reminder, on February 28, the Ukrainian delegation carried out the first talks with representatives of the Russian Federation near the Ukrainian-Belarusian border. As a result of talks, were "defined several priority topics where certain solutions have been taken."

The second round of talks took place on March 3. The parties managed to agree on securing humanitarian convoys "with the possibility of a temporary ceasefire for the period of evacuation." Ukraine tried to negotiate on a no-fly and conflict-free zone near the nuclear power plant, but the Russian military did not agree.
